Zur\u00fcckziehung der Aktion nach Protest aus Paris<\/h1>\n

Der Europarat \u2013 eine weitgehend vergessene Institution mit Sitz im sch\u00f6nen Stra\u00dfburg \u2013 macht von sich reden. Mit einer Kampagne. Dabei geht es um die Propagierung des Kopftuchs. In Texten und zahlreichen Bildern wird \u2013 getarnt unter dem Motto \u201eF\u00fcr gesellschaftliche Vielfalt, Toleranz und Integration\u201c sowie, eh klar, als Teil des Kampfes gegen Hetze und Hass \u2013 die islamische Kopfbedeckung f\u00fcr Frauen und sogar die Verschleierung in einem durchaus positiven Sinn dargestellt. Fr\u00f6hliche Kopftuchm\u00e4dchen sprechen davon, dass der Hijab, also das Kopftuch, f\u00fcr sie Freude und Freiheit bedeute.<\/p>\n

Daraufhin hat Frankreich dem Europarat sofort seine extreme Missbilligung mitgeteilt, wie die Jugend-Staatssekret\u00e4rin Sarah El Ha\u00efry bekanntgibt. Als Reaktion zog der Europarat die Aussendung zur\u00fcck, schummelte dabei ein wenig: Auf Twitter kursieren trotz der Zur\u00fcckziehung Bilder und Aussagen, die anscheinend zur Kampagne geh\u00f6ren. Darauf sind Frauen mit Kopftuch zu sehen und Aussagen wie \u201eMein Kopftuch bedeutet f\u00fcr mich Freiheit\u201c zu lesen.<\/p>\n

Auch die EU steht nun da wie ein begossener Pudel, wurde das Projekt gegen Hassreden doch mit 340.000 Euro aus Br\u00fcssel gef\u00f6rdert. Ein EU-Kommissionssprecher betont trotzig: \u201eFrauen m\u00fcssen tragen d\u00fcrfen, was sie wollen, solange sie die Gesetze des jeweiligen Landes beachten.\u201c<\/p>\n

Im franz\u00f6sischen Pr\u00e4sidentschaftswahlkampf st\u00f6\u00dft die Werbekampagne f\u00fcr das Kopftuch \u00a0partei\u00fcbergreifend auf Protest. Marine Le Pen\u00a0nennt die Sache skandal\u00f6s und unanst\u00e4ndig. In Frankreich und anderen Staaten auch Europas gibt es seit Jahrzehnten heftige Debatten um religi\u00f6se Verschleierung, hinter der mitunter auch\u00a0 Motive wie Kultur- und Religionskampf, symbolische \u201eLandnahme“ durch den Islam sowie Unterdr\u00fcckung der Frau geortet werden. Experten zufolge nimmt das Kopftuch dabei tats\u00e4chlich eine immer gr\u00f6\u00dfere symbolische Bedeutung an, nicht zuletzt in den vergangenen paar Jahren und durchaus auch unter jungen Menschen.<\/p>\n

Interessant ist wie \u00f6sterreichische Zeitungen die Sache behandeln. Denn: Um die Mittagszeit des 3. November verbreitet die dpa (Deutsche Presseagentur) die Angelegenheit. In der Tageszeitung \u201eDie Presse\u201c wird dar\u00fcber auf der Internetseite berichtet, in der Druckausgabe vom 4.\u00a0November steht kein Wort davon. Offenbar gibt es keinen Platz daf\u00fcr, denn die angeblich b\u00fcrgerliche Zeitung berichtet lang und breit \u00fcber neue EU-Normen f\u00fcr T\u00e4towierungen.<\/p>\n

Dem rosaroten Zentralorgan der guten Menschen d\u00fcrfte es \u00fcberhaupt die Sprache verschlagen haben \u2013 dort herrscht 24 Stunden nach Einlangen der dpa-Meldung auch in der Onlineausgabe Funkstille. Kann man das selektive Information nennen? Oder soll der Leserschaft die eigenwillige Aktion des Europarats absichtlich verschwiegen werden?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
