N\u00e4chstes Jahr soll diese sogar auf 125.000 angehoben werden.<\/h1>\n<p>Biden macht damit die &#8222;historisch niedrige&#8220; Obergrenze von 15.000 Fl\u00fcchtlingen, die von seinem Vorg\u00e4nger Donald Trump eingef\u00fchrt wurde, zunichte. Der amtierende US-Pr\u00e4sident meinte, dass Trumps Politik &#8222;nicht Amerikas Werte als Nation widergespiegelt\u201c, die \u201eFl\u00fcchtlinge willkommen hei\u00dft und unterst\u00fctzt&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>Biden musste damit scharfe Kritik aus den eigenen Reihen einstecken. Aber nur, weil er seine Vorhaben f\u00fcr eine deutlich erh\u00f6hte Fl\u00fcchtlingsaufnahme im laufenden Haushaltsjahr Mitte April reduzierte.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr das n\u00e4chste Haushaltsjahr werde sogar die Aufnahme von 125.000 Fl\u00fcchtlingen angestrebt. Traurig sei es \u201edass wir in diesem Jahr keine 62.500 Aufnahmen schaffen werden.&#8220;, so Biden. Man werde rasch daran arbeiten, \u201eden Schaden der vergangenen vier Jahre zu beheben.&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>Trumps Vorg\u00e4nger Barack Obama legte die Obergrenze auf 100.000 \u201eFl\u00fcchtlinge\u201c fest. Biden m\u00f6chte dieses Limit also noch einmal \u00fcberspringen.
